Level 5 Diploma in Business Management (Higher) (Management of Information Systems Pathway)

The Association of Business Executives (ABE) now offers a Management of Information Systems (MIS) pathway within the Business Management programme. The new pathway system allows greater flexibility for students who now have the option to achieve additional qualifications. The MIS pathway contains three levels of Ofqual accredited qualifications to improve your information management knowledge and skills. The Diploma in MIS starts at level 4, and enables you to progress through the Higher Diploma at level 5, up to the Graduate Diploma at level 6. You can study at one of more than 500 colleges worldwide who between them offer a range of flexible study options

- Quantitative Methods for Business Management - The Business Environment - Financial Accounting - Marketing Policy, Planning and Communication - Organisational Behaviour - Human Resource Management
Optional units (choose two)
- Information Systems Applications for Business - Information Systems Development - Managing the Customer Relationship

ABE exams are offered twice a year (in the first week of June and December) and students must register with ABE and pay an annual subscription fee and exam fees. Exams are organised by ABE externally at various locations in London.

A student must fulfil at least one of the following criteria along with proficiency in english atleast Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) B1.
- Any ABE Level 4 Diploma or equivalent - Two GCE 'A' levels together with four GCSEs at grade C or above - 2 years’ relevant work experience

ABE Diploma holders can gain entry to the ABE Advanced Diploma and also get exemptions from units of many bachelor degree programmes in the UK and other universities around the world.
